Corinthians coach Tite has warned his players to be wary their opponents in the Club World Cup, including struggling Chelsea.

Tite says there are no favourites in Japan as Corinthians prepare for their semi final against either Japan’s Sanfrecce Hiroshima or Egypt’s Al-Ahly on Wednesday.

“In a tournament like this there are no favorites,” Tite told reporters. “Past results won’t determine who wins the tournament. You have to play a full 90 minutes and there is very little margin for error.”

If they win and Chelsea defeat their semi finals opponents, either South Korea’s Ulsan Hyundai or Mexico’s Monterrey, then they will face each other in the final.

Chelsea have struggled under new manager Rafa Benitez, having won just one out of the last four games which came in the Champions League as they beat FC Nordjaelland 6-1.

Despite the victory, they have crashed out of the Champions League and will now compete for the Europa League.
