CSKA Moscow are interested in resigning their former striker Vagner Love, who only left the Russian club earlier this year to join Flamengo.

Love, 28, has no interest in leaving Flamengo but, according to Evandro Ferreira, a businessman known to the club, the Rio de Janeiro giants still owe CSKA a large amount of the transfer fee agreed for the striker and now the Russians are interested in taking the player back to Moscow.

“It has nothing to do with the departure of Patricia and the arrival of the president,” Evandro told Radio Brazil.

“CSKA have interest and there is still this “debt” that Flamengo owe the Russian club, which is still to be paid.

“Vagner has no interest in returning, but as the amount was not paid in full, they are awaiting for the new board of Flamengo to stand.”

Love joined CSKA in 2004 from Palmeiras and spent 7 years with club, including two loan spells back in Brazil with Palmeiras and Flamengo, before returning to Brazil this year.
