Angry Hulk on verge of leaving Zenit
Hulk has threatened to leave Zenit St Petersburg after being substituted following a heated exchange with coach Luciano Spalletti during their 1-0 win over AC Milan.
The Seleção striker reacted angrily to being pulled by Spalletti and snubbed the coach before exchanging angry words with the coaching staff during the Champions League victory.
Hulk was reported to have told local press: "If the situation with the coach does not resolve itself I may leave the club in the January transfer window."
Spalletti played down the incident however and told the club website: "All big players don't react well when they're substituted. The most important thing is that we won the game."
Danny won the game for Zenit with a first half strike to ensure that they qualified for the Europa League after finishing third in Group C.
Hulk is one of our 30 nominees for the 2012 Samba Gold Trophy, which recognises the best performing Brazilian playing in Europe.
