Lazio’s Hernanes believes that they are capable of beating Tottenham in tonight’s Europa League clash at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Biancocelesti go into tonight’s match knowing a win will secure their passage into the next round of the competition.
Hernanes told reporters ahead of the match: “We have had several good results recently and we will be sure to go on to the field and play with the right attitude.
“If we win, we will qualify for the knockout stages, so we’ll have to concentrate. Spurs put us in a lot of difficulty at their place, because they are both strong technically and tactically.
“But if we play like we know we can, with the ball on the ground, then we shouldn’t have any problems.”
There have been reports of attacks on Tottenham fans by locals ahead of tonight’s game in Rome and some suggest that one supporter was seriously injured in a fight.
