Barcelona’s Adriano and Thiago have recovered from injuries to resume training on Wednesday as Tito Vilanova prepares his side for Sunday’s game at Levante.

Thiago, 21, tore ligaments in his right knee in the game against Sevilla on September 29, and the midfielder has since been working on his recovery.

Adriano, 28, sustained a thigh injury in the win over Celta Vigo earlier this month, and the full-back consequently missed Barça’s games against Celtic, Mallorca, Zaragoza and Spartak Moscow.

Both trained alongside members of the B squad during the afternoon session, while the first-team squad who played in Barça’s 3-0 Champions League win at Spartak Moscow on Tuesday enjoyed a lighter recovery session.

It appears unlikely that Thiago and Adriano will be included in the match squad for this weekend’s visit to Levante and may be more likely to make their returns in the Copa del Rey second leg match at home to Alaves next Wednesday.

Barcelona currently sit top of the Primera Division table with 34 points from 12 games, three-points ahead of second-placed Atlético Madrid.
