Brazil’s Paulinho has warned his teammates to expect a difficult game as they prepare to face Argentina in tonight’s Superclássico das Americas.

The two teams will go head to head tonight with sides filled with domestic talent but Paulinho feels that the Seleção needs to step up in the absence of more experience players:

“It is not new, but we know which difficulties we’ll play against. We are ready to play a great game with the Selecao.”

“I know that Argentina watch us like we watch other teams. It will not be an easy game.

“Argentina know Brazil play with midfielders who approach the goal, but I hope we can play a good game.”

Goalkeeper Jefferson was also delighted at the prospect of playing at La Bombonera in Buenos Aires: “Everybody likes to play there. That stadium has held several Copa Libertadores finals.”

Brazil take a 2-1 lead into tonight’s clash.
