David Luiz has dismissed concerns about Chelsea"s recent poor form and says that they were unlucky not to win against West Brom.

Chelsea slumped to a 2-1 defeat to West Brom, managed by former Chelsea coach Steve Clarke, at the weekend and are now looking to end a run of four league games without a win.

David Luiz told reporters: “The thing about the Premier League is its magic. In my first season we were 18 points behind and then in the last two games we could have won the league.

“That [end of the season] is long [time from now], but Chelsea don’t like to be far behind other teams. But in two or three games everything can change and Chelsea could be fighting at the top.

“We had a lot of chances to win the game, but we were unluky. We’ll now go back to London and think about the next game.

“All the other teams come here and do not have an easy game. They have a great philosophy and a great coach, but we are a little disappointed. Chelsea always want to be top."
