Former Lyon forward Fred has heaped praise on Lucas Moura ahead of the attacker’s January transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.
Lucas, 20, will head to the Parc des Princes in less than two months, after PSG agreed a fee worth €45million (£35.5m) with São Paulo earlier this summer.
Fred, who spent four years at Lyon from 2005, has praised the Tricolor Paulista star and believes he will be a hit in France.
He said: “Lucas is the greatest revelation of Brazilian football for ten years.
“Lucas is strong, fast and very technical. He will be a hit in France.”
The Brasileirão’s leading goalscorer, who helped Fluminense claim this season’s league title, believes former Flu player Thiago Silva will be a great influence on Lucas at PSG.
Fred added: “Thiago Silva is the biggest idol of the recent history of Fluminense. Lucas can achieve great things with him in the locker room.”
