Real Madrid’s Kaká has insisted that he has a professional relationship with his coach Jose Mourinho despite featuring only four times in La Liga so far this season.

The Seleção star has enjoyed a return to the national team and looked to have won over Mourinho with a series of fine performances earlier in the season but the player has once more found himself on the fringes.

The midfielder told reporters: “My relationship with the coach is very professional, I respect his decisions. I have a contract with Madrid for two and a half years and I hope to stay there and enjoy my football.”

Despite falling out of favour, Kaká still believes he can contribute to the team: “I can contribute my technical skills, and my experience and maturity now too. I have had ten years of professional contribution but believe I can give more for Madrid and the Selecao.”

The playmaker also holds no grudges towards fellow teammate Mesut Ozil: “Ozil is a player who I respect as a companion, a player and a friend. And that’s what the competition is like at a great club like Madrid.”
