Brazil’s Diego Alves has admitted that he is wary of the form of Colombia’s star striker Radamel Falcao ahead of their friendly clash.

Falcao has netted 13 times in just 11 games for club side Atletico Madrid to help them to second place behind Barcelona in La Liga.

The Valencia goalkeeper told Globoesporte: “To me, Falcao is the best striker around at the moment.

“We must take special care of him because he defines matches.”

Brazil go into the friendly on the back of wins against Iraq and Japan, scoring ten goals without reply and reaping the benefits of Kaká’s return.

The clash takes place in New Jersey tomorrow as preparations continue for the 2014 World Cup on home soll, although Brazil will first compete in the Superclássico das Americas second leg with Argentina on November 21.
