Lucas Moura has revealed he is desperate to win a title with São Paulo before joining Paris Saint-Germain in January.

The 20-year-old scored in his side’s 5-0 victory over Universidad de Chile last night, which helped the Tricolor Paulista progress to the semi-finals of the Copa Sudamericana.

Now one step closer to winning a title, Lucas has insisted he will run twice as fast to help São Paulo claim some silverware before his €45million transfer to France in two months’ time.

He said: “With each passing day, my heart beats faster. I know I will miss a lot of things so every game for me is like a final.

“I want to win, starting with the title, and I’m going to run twice as fast to make it happen.”

São Paulo currently occupy fourth in the Brasileirão, after an impressive season, but are unable to claim the title which seems destined to go to Fluminense.

However, there are still plenty of title opportunities this term as the league’s top four teams will earn a place in the 2013 Copa Libertadores and a spot is also being offered to the Copa Sudamericana victors.
