Paulo Henrique Ganso signed for São Paulo back in September but said on Tuesday that he does not have a definite date on which he will make his debut for his new club.

The former Santos playmaker is continuing the recovery of a left thigh injury sustained playing for his former club against Bahia in August. However, the last few days have been more promising for the star as he started training again with the ball.

Ganso, 23, was asked by Folha de S.Paulo in what position coach Ney Franco would use him.

He said: “It’s a good headache to solve for Ney Franco.”

And the player is looking forward to getting started with his new club, especially linking up again with striker Luis Fabiano.

“It is very important for São Paulo. We have already worked together once in a game for the national team.

“I want to play football first, then help the São Paulo and then return to the Brazilian national team.”
