Chelsea star Ramires on Manchester United Cup victory: "It was one of the most exciting games of my career"

Chelsea midfielder Ramires started Wednesday night's Capital One Cup fourth round tie against Manchester United on the bench, but ,after coming on in the second half, the former Benfica star admitted that it was one of the best games he has ever played in.
He told Lancenet: "Games like this against Manchester are hard to forget, especially when you end up helping your team directly to win. Undoubtedly, it was one of the most exciting games of my career, being against Manchester United and for all that happened to me in the game.
"I knew it was our last chance to equalise when the ball came to me. I was prepared to shoot when I was pushed. At that moment I felt that was our game. We equalised in injury time, and I scored my goal when we were sure we were through."
After an indifferent first season at Stamford Bridge, the 25-year-old has become a key player under Roberto di Matteo and has been vital in Chelsea's great start to the season.
