São Paulo's Luís Fabiano set to return against title leaders Fluminense

São Paulo's Luís Fabiano could be set for a return to first team action against title leaders Fluminense on Sunday after he revealed he did not want to risk his injury in the Copa Sudamericana in midweek.
The striker told the press conference: "I would love to be able to play against Fluminense, because it is a final for me. I'm available for the Copa Sudamericana but honestly, it would not be ideal. The best thing for me is a longer recovery."
Coach Ney Franco said it was up to the medical team whether he plays: "If the doctors think he is unable to play, the we will hold him back for the clash against Fluminense."
Lucas Moura, however, has stated that he is available for the midweek clash against Universidad de Chile: "I'm avaiable of course, I feel rested and ready to help the team. But the squad depends on the coach Ney Franco."
São Paulo are set to travel to Chile ahead of their Copa Sudamericana clash on Wednesday against Universidad de Chile.
