
Barça's sporting director also denies deal with Santos for Neymar

Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta has also denied claims that the Catalan giants have already struck a deal with Santos for striker Neymar.

According to Spanish magazine Sport, there is an existing agreement between the two clubs for Neymar and Barcelona have already set aside €40 million to sign the Seleção star.
The Blaugrana's annual report allegedly shows that the youngster was listed as a recipient of a hefty €10 million bonus, ahead of an even more lucrative agreement in the future.
However, the Brazilian club recently published a statement on their official website denying a deal with Barcelona, and the retired goalkeeper has also dismissed the claims on Barça’s behalf.
Andoni Zubizarreta said: "Neymar is Santos’ player. I do not know, I do not have a magic ball to see if he will play at Barça.
"We have a lot of respect for Santos. I have not read the financial report, but I know that Neymar is Santos’ player and that’s all there is to say."
