Dutch legend Ruud Gullit in crowd for Corinthians victory over Vasco
Corinthians had a special visitor for their 1-0 victory over Vasco da Gama at Pacaembu, with Dutch legend Ruud Gullit paying a visit to the Copa Libertadores champions.
The former AC Milan and Chelsea star, who now works as a TV pundit, was at the game after an invitation from Corinthians and after the game, Gullit made his way down to the changing rooms where he complimented head coach Tite on the job he has done.
Tite told Lancenet: "He (Gullit) told me he liked it, especially the way the players performed the marking of their offensive, attacking unit, reducing the spaces in front [of the defence]."
Corinthians won the game through a goal from former Hamburg striker Paolo Guerrero and the 3 points moves them up to 8th in the league table.
After a hugely successful 12 months, Tite and his players are now fully concentrated on preparing for the Fifa Club World Cup in Japan this December.
