Catalan publication Sport has published a document which it claims shows the details of an arrangement between Barcelona and Santos for the transfer of Neymar.
According to the magazine, the Spanish side have already set aside €40 million for the forward. The document, an excerpt from the club’s annual report which does not mention Neymar’s name, shows that €10 million has already been paid for the right to acquire the player.
The media outlet, along with fellow Catalunya based sports giant Mundo Deportivo, have long insisted that there is an existing agreement between the two clubs to sign Neymar, a fact disputed by all parties involved.
Some details of the document have previously been leaked by the two media outlets, but Sport’s decision to publish the supposed report is a new development in the saga.
Although there has been no official comment from either club thus far, it can be expected that both parties will once more chose to deny the validity of the document.
