Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho could call up young Brazilian starlet Fabinho to solve their injury crisis ahead of their La Liga clash against Celta Vigo on Saturday.

According to Spanish publication El Mundo, Fabinho, 18, could be playing his first game for Los Blancos at the San Bernabeu after an injury nightmare that saw Fabio Coentrão, Marcelo and Alvaro Arbeloa all suffer injuries in the last seven days.

All three fullbacks were injured on international duty, including Marcelo who fractured a metatarsal bone during training with the Seleção.

Rio de Janeiro-born Fabinho started his career in Brazil at Fluminense before joining Rio Ave in Portugal this past summer. The right-back, who starred at the 2012 Copa São Paulo, then immediately moved to Real Madrid’s satellite side Castilla on a year-long loan deal.

The youngster is set to start on the bench as Mourinho is likely to play experienced Spanish fullbacks Juanfran and Jorge Casado in the starting lineup.
