Botafogo striker Jóbson could face disciplinary action after he failed to turn up for training on Monday.

The 24-year-old, who has been out of action since July and only returned to the club two weeks ago, has been training separately recently to recover from a right thigh injury.

Jóbson, who has previously been banned for doping, was expected at the Engenhão on Monday afternoon but failed to show up.

Only last month he angered the club’s hierarchy when he missed a flight which led to him missing a meeting with coach Anderson Barros, and he was then late to training three days later.

The talented attacker signed a 5-year contract when he moved to the Rio club in 2010 but has already been loaned out to three different clubs, including Brasileiro Série B side Grêmio Barueri most recently.
