The draw means Corinthians are now safe from relegation, according to coach Tite’s calculations, and can begin to rest some of their key players.

Portuguese managed to open the scoring after left-back Marcelo Cordeiro scored a controversial goal on 13 minutes, but the home side’s lead was cut short four minutes later when Douglas equalised.
Corinthians striker Emerson Sheik was stretchered off after 20 minutes of play, after showing signs of an injury just two minutes in, to be replaced by Giovanni.
Seventh-placed Corinthians will face Cruzeiro in their next game, which takes place at the Braga Municipal Stadium on Thursday.
