Brazilian superstar Neymar has praised the latest tactical system of coach Mano Menezes, which sees the Seleção line-up without a recognised centre-forward.

Neymar, 20, started the fixtures with Iraq and China as a ‘false-nine" whilst Oscar and Kaká were charges with interchanging roles in attacking areas, whilst Hulk lined up on the right-flank.

The system has overseen two emphatic wins over weak opponents, but Neymar believes that the Seleção are improving, as the coach tests the water with some new formations.

“Mano is evaluating his options," Neymar told Rede Globo on Thursday night. “It"s a good system [with no centre-forward], everyone is moving and always rotating who plays up-front.

“Oscar scored twice and, for the most part, I played up front. The interplay was fluid and it"s improving each time."

The potent duo of Neymar and Oscar continue to impress and their figures for Brazil so far in their early careers are astounding – Neymar has amassed 14 goals and seven assists in his 24 games to date, while Oscar has four goals and four assists in his 10 appearances.

Brazil will no doubt hope that the addition of Kaká, who has shown glimpses of his previous form in recent weeks, will allow the young duo to continue their development with an experienced head to help share the burden.
