Brazil 6-0 Iraq - Kaká scores on Brazil return

Action Images

Real Madrid star Kaká scored on his return from the international football wilderness as Brazil smashed 6 goals past a very poor Iraq side in Malmo, Sweden. Chelsea midfielder Oscar had earlier set the five-times world champions on their way to an easy win with 2 goals in 5 minutes midway through the first half.

Kaka, 30, who last played for his country at the 2010 World Cup, scored the 3rd goal of the game early in the second half before Hulk, Neymar and Lucas added 3 more goals. Iraq, who are managed by former Seleção star Zico, had no answer to Brazil's incisive passing and movement and barely threatened keeper Diego Alves in the Seleção goal all game.

It was Santos forward Neymar who instigated the first goal for Brazil by carrying the ball forward and setting up Oscar, who slotted the ball past the oncoming Sabri. Five minutes later, Kaka pulled the ball back from the byline and Oscar turned it in from close range for the second.

Kaká big moment came early in the second half when he burst down the left, went past a defender with ease and then fired the ball into the roof of the net from a narrow angle. It was a derserving strike for the playmaker who has suffered a horrid time of late through injury and loss of form.

The Iraqi keeper, Sabri, made two great saves before Zenit striker Hulk scored the fourth in the 55th minute, cutting inside his marker and firing a low shot into the bottom far corner.

Neymar got the fifth with a curling shot in the 75th minute and then played a one-two with Lucas who completed the rout.

Brazil face Japan in another friendly on Tuesday in the Polish city of Wroclaw.
