Neymar to move to Europe sooner rather than later, says adopted brother

The two-time World Cup winner has joined the growing list of stars and former players who are urging the Santos star to move to Europe as soon as possible.

Neymar has been strongly linked with moves to Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea, among others, but the 20-year-old is remaining in Brazil until at least 2014.

Ronaldo believes the young Seleção forward needs to make the move to Europe sooner, where he will become the best in the world.

The former Barcelona and Real Madrid star said: "I would advise Neymar to come to Europe as soon as possible, where he would be the best in the world.

"Logically, Messi is better right now but Neymar is a great talent who will show the world that he will be number one.

"I advise him [Neymar] to go as soon as possible because to be number one you have to go to Europe."

Ronaldo began his senior career at Cruzeiro before moving to Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.

The 36-year-old also wore the shirts of both Inter Milan and AC Milan during his illustrious career, in which he won numerous individual and club trophies.
