Cafu: I'm a fan of Ganso
Brazil legend Cafu has revealed his admiration of São Paulo's new signing Ganso and believes he can help the club to win the Brasileirão.
Cafu, who started his career at São Paulo, told reporters: "He is a playmaker, I hope he can come to São Paulo not only to add, but make a difference.
"He is an athlete I know, I have a great admiration for him. I'm a fan of the Goose [Ganso] and I hope he can do well in São Paulo."
Cafu believes that, with Ganso on board, São Paulo have a chance of winning the title:
"São Paulo always enter a competition to win. A player like Ganso certainly reinforces and brings a lot of quality to the midfield and I hope that, with him, the team can win the title again."
The former AC Milan fullback is enjoying retirement after a hugely successful career with the Rossoneri and Brazil, winning two World Cups, two Copa Libertadores and two Italian Serie A titles.
He also appeared for the Seleção a record 142 times.
