Luis Fabiano: It's been a difficult year

São Paulo's Luís Fabiano has admitted that it has been a difficult year for the striker after struggling with injury problems.
Fabiano, 31, told reporters: "It has been difficult this year, I am having many small problems, I was out a few games."
The Brazil striker scored two goals in São Paulo's recent 3-0 victory over Palmeiras in a controversial victory as the opponents criticised the referee for some poor decisions.
Fabiano was quick to dismiss such concerns: "We won the game because we dominated the game. We played with determination and seized opportunities we had."
The São Paulo number nine has had a successful season despite several injuries, scoring 13 goals in the league for the club as he seeks a return to the Seleção after he was recently called up to the squad for the Superclássico.
The ex-Sevilla striker has made 44 appearances for the national side, scoring 28 goals.
São Paulo are currently occupying fifth place in the Brasileirão.
