Striker Kieza continued his incredible scoring run on Saturday evening to set Naútico on their way to a 2-1 victory over defending Brasileirão champions Corinthians.
Kieza, 26, scored his 10th goal in 12 matches since rejoining the North-Eastern side to help them move ten points clear of relegation with ten games remaining.
The forward opened the scoring in fine style, pulling down Jean Rolt’s long-ball before turning Brazil full-back Fábio Santos inside out and firing passed Cássio from a narrow-angle.
Just before half-time, Corinthians pulled level. Juan Martinez found himself robbed of the ball but, with the defence unable to clear, Paulinho stole-in to win back the ball which fell to Peruvian target-man Jose Paulo Guerrero to prod home.
The second-half was a tense affair and it looked for all intents and purposes as though the match was heading for a draw before Naútico stole victory in unlikely fashion.
Receiving the ball on the right, Rhayner fired a cross across the face of goal which was turned-in at the near post by the unfortunate Ralf.
The goal gave the Pernambuco side their third victory in four matches, moving Naútico into the top-half of the Brasileirão table with a realistic chance of a place in the 2013 Copa Sudamericana.
