Seleção coach Mano Menezes has hinted that Ronaldinho could make a return to the national team after being impressed with the form of the Atlético Mineiro star.

Ronaldinho, 32, has not played for the Seleção since his move from Flamengo to the Belo Horizonte side in June. However, in an interview with the São Paulo newspaper “O Estado de São Paulo", Menezes acknowledged that you cannot ignore players with special ability and has refused to rule out a return for Ronaldinho.

“About Ronaldinho, it is a little different, but I do not exclude the possibility [of a recall] because we always respect great players. We played him when he was in good form with Flamengo and then had a fall.

“Now he has returned to play well. Of great players it is always possible to expect great things. We just have to decide if it is interesting for us whether or not he is selected."

The player was delighted to hear this news and still has ambitions to play at the World Cup in Brazil in 2014.

He said: “It is very good to hear praise, especially coming from the coach of the Seleção, it motivates me even more."
