The return of 'the pod'...

The Elastico Brazilian football podcast, hosted by Christopher Atkins and Rio Coimbra, returns after a summer absence with a recap of recent events in the crazy world of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

Together, the duo examine the revelations of the Brasileirão 2012, the performance of the Brazilian national team in recent months and the most recent squad selection.

Besides that, the show takes a look at some of the more interesting headlines produced by 'Futebol' recently and Rio plays a game of 'Good move/Bad move' with the major summer transfers.

The show will now return to its former weekly schedule, featuring previous regular guests James Young (Independent), Tim Vickery (BBC), Jon Cotterill (TV Globo) and Robert Sweeney (Santapelota).
