Adriano's Flamengo future in doubt

Flamengo striker Adriano's future could be in doubt after he missed training for the third time since joining the Rio side last month.
According to reports in the local media Adriano, 30, had missed a compulsory ball training session with his fellow teammates as he continues his recovery from surgery on a problematic left achilles.
This latest incident comes after the former Inter and Parma striker was warned that there would be no more chances after missing two previous training sessions.
Flamengo's football director, Zinho, spoke to Lancenet!:
"Adriano didn't come to training today [Saturday]. I will sit down the football department and the player to find out what happened".
Flamengo fitness advisor, Claudio Pavanelli, added:
"As this is his third absence and due to his problems in the past, it could have a impact on his return to the pitch."
The striker's troubles continues after he was released by Corinthians after allegedly missing 67 physiotherapy sessions .
Adriano, who won 48 caps for Brazil, returned to his hometown club in August, after a career in Italy playing for Serie A giants Inter.
He also played for Fiorentina, Roma and Parma before signing a new contract with Flamengo.
