Sandro helps Tottenham to memorable win

Brazilian midfielder Sandro was celebrating on Saturday night as Tottenham Hotspur overcame Manchester United 3-2 at Old Trafford - their first win over the Red Devils in 23 years.
Sandro, 23, played an important role for the visitors in the Premier League encounter, helping the White Hart Lane side dominate the midfield area in a first-half that Spurs led 2-0.
For Manchester United to be outplayed at the Theatre of Dreams is a rarity, but it was they who left the pitch at half-time to the sound of boos, as Tottenham's authority on the pitch became all too visible.
The hosts came out for the second-period reinvigorated, but although they pressed throughout for an equaliser, Tottenham held firm with Sandro and midfield colleague Moussa Dembélé offering valuable protection to the defensive line.
With England international Scott Parker out of the picture through injury, the Brazilian has impressed after a run of games in André Villas-Boas' side and has put himself in a strong position to retain his place, even after Parker's return.
