Hulk fires a blank as Zenit struggle

Zenit St Petersburg's woes continued on Saturday night as they went a third league game without a win, despite the best efforts of new signing Hulk.
Hulk, 26, has seen his new side struggle since his €60 million arrival from Porto and, despite Dominico Criscito's opener, the disappointment continued on a frustrating evening for the hosts.
The match came less than 48 hours after a fake bomb, with a picture of the Brazilian star attached, was found at Zenit's training complex in protest at Hulk's astronomical wages.
The Seleção forward's arrival has seen discontent spread amongst the Russian members of the squad over the disparity in wages, with captain Igor Denisov demoted to train with the youth team after demanding equality.
With just a solitary point, Zenit drop to sixth place in the league table and could fall six points behind leaders CSKA Moscow on Sunday night.
