Paulinho discusses his rapid rise to top

Corinthians midfielder Paulinho has discussed his rapid ascent to the top of the Brazilian game with FIFA.com, after an unforgettable year for club and country.
Paulinho, 24, has won both the Campeonato Brasileiro and Copa Libertadores alongside his Corinthians team-mates, as well as taking his first few tentative steps in a Brazil shirt.
The former Bragantino midfielder, who has been heavily linked with CSKA Moscow and Inter Milan, is now set on working hard to retain his international place ahead of the 2014 World Cup.
"Of course it’s really hard to take all this in. It’s been a really rapid rise, from an individual point of view as well," Paulinho told the world football governing body.
"So, I have to make the most of this good period. Of course for that I’ll need the help of the whole [Corinthians] squad, while I’ll keep working hard for my team-mates too, trying to help us win more titles as well as keeping my place in A Seleção.”
