Cech: Chelsea can make Oscar "a great"
Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech believes Oscar is in the right place to further his career, adding that Chelsea can help the youngster "become a great player".
Oscar, 20, announced his arrival at Chelsea in fine-style on Wednesday night, using his first start in a blue shirt to grab two Champions League goals against Juventus - including a delightful curled effort from 25 yards.
Cech believes that, despite the youngster's £25 million price-tag, he will prove to be worth every single penny spent.
"He has quite a big price tag on him for a young guy and he's under extra pressure," Cech told reporters.
"It's been great for him, obviously, his performance and two goals. They will give him a lot of confidence and people will realise that he is really good value. He's settled in quite quickly and you can see he's really worth the money the club spent, obviously, now.
"So let's see how well he's going to develop over here. He has a pretty good set-up here too to become a great player."
