Luis Fabiano delights at Ganso capture
São Paulo striker Luis Fabiano could not contain his excitement when asked about the imminent arrival of Paulo Henrique Ganso to the Morumbi.
Luis Fabiano, 31, has been free-scoring of late, with 11 goals in 13 league matches to top the goalscoring charts and believes that the addition of Ganso can only further help the team.
With Jadson currently the league's top assist-maker (8), Ganso will have to play alongside the former-Shakhtar player when he returns from injury, but Fabiano believes his arrival will ease the considerable burden on Jadson.
"Ganso adds a lot to us. We have Jadson, but it's good to have a player of Ganso's quality," he told Globo Esporte post-match.
"He has a great pass and he controls the game well. If he comes, he will be welcomed and we will receive him with open in arms because we only have Jadson in this position.
"He is playing every game, it is too much. Plus, there is always room for a player of that quality."
