QPR defender Fábio looks forward to Chelsea clash

Brazilian full-back Fábio da Silva is looking forward to his first taste of a West London derby as QPR prepare to take on Chelsea next weekend.
Fábio, 22, has quickly settled in at Loftus Road, improving upon a torrid opening afternoon to the season to put in three much-improved performances.
Now, the Brazil international is hoping that his new-look side can notch their first Premier League win against neighbours Chelsea, in a game the Hoops managed to win last campaign.
“I know all about the rivalry between QPR and Chelsea,” Fábio told the club's official website. “All the players know about this. It is a big derby game and I am ready for it.
“These ones are more special to be play in, definitely. We really want to win this game because we know what it means to our supporters to win this match. It is very exciting.
“Matches like this have an extra edge. I have played at Loftus Road two times and I am really looking forward to this weekend because the atmosphere is going to be incredible.”
After a rough start to his time away from twin brother Rafael, Fábio is confident that he is settling well in his new environment.
After a summer in which QPR made 11 new signings, a slow start was not unexpected, but the full-back believes the signs of something positive are there.
“I have settled very well,” he said. “It is very nice here and things are getting better and better.
“We showed there that we are starting to get to know each other. We played some good football against them and I think if we can play against Chelsea like we did in the second half at Manchester City, we can get a positive result.
“This will be difficult for us, I know this. But we are going to work very, very hard in this game.”
