Roberto Carlos states Anzhi are not interested in signing Cristiano Ronaldo

Former Brazil left-back Roberto Carlos has made it clear that Anzhi Makhachkala are not interested in signing Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portugal international has recently been linked with a move away from the Bernabéu, following the revelation that he is unhappy at the Liga champions.
However, the former Los Blancos player and current director of Russian Premier League club Anzihi, has stressed his club are not interested in signing the prolific attacker right now.
Roberto Carlos said: "Lots of people have asked me whether Anzhi are after Cristiano Ronaldo. I haven't come here to sign Cristiano, though.
"Cristiano is happy here. If he doesn't want to celebrate his goals, then us, the people watching the games will celebrate them for him.
"He shouldn't worry, people like him a lot. Problems can be resolved."
However, the 39-year-old then went on to say that big-spending Anzhi will be looking to add to their ranks during the next transfer window.
"We are, however thinking about signing some quality players for next season," he added.
