Dedé wants to establish himself within the Seleção

Brazil centre-back Dedé has stated his intentions of establishing himself within the national side, in order to make the Confederations Cup next year.
The 24-year-old has replaced the injured Thiago Silva, who has a thigh problem, in the Seleção’s starting line-up for this evening’s friendly with South Africa.
Dedé, who plays for Série A side Vasco da Gama, has spoke of his delight at this opportunity and his aspirations of being selected for the Confederations Cup in 2013.
He said: "I'm living a great moment. This is very good for me.
"The important thing now is to keep myself well. I want to establish myself in the squad so I can be with the group at the Confederations Cup."
Dedé also revealed that Chelsea defender David Luiz, who he will be lining up alongside during the friendlies, has been a great help during his short time with the Seleção.
"David Luiz is a guy who helps me a lot in training. God willing we can play some good football tomorrow," he added.
This evening’s game at São Paulo’s Morumbi Stadium kicks off at 19:45 (BST) and you can follow all the action live on Sambafoot.
In three days time Brazil will be in Recife to face China in another friendly.
