Mano Menezes' Brazil side have moved up one place to twelfth in the FIFA World Rankings.
The Seleção dropped out of the top 10 for the first time ever in the last update at the beginning of August, but have since played one friendly against Sweden, which they won 3-0.
Brazil have suffered from a lack of competitive fixtures due to their automatic qualification for the 2014 World Cup on home soil, but they will be in action against South Africa in a friendly this Friday, before coming up against China in another friendly next Tuesday.
