Germany legend Jürgen Kohler questions Dante's quality

Germany legend Jürgen Kohler has doubts as to whether Brazilian defender Dante has what it takes to succeed at Bayern Munich.
The 28-year-old signed a four-year contract at the Allianz Arena this summer following a €5 million switch from Bundesliga rivals Borussia Mönchengladbach.
However, former Juventus and Borussia Dortmund defender, Kohler, feels that Dante is a decent player, but stressed that he remains unproven at the highest level.
"I find Bayern's situation in defence very interesting, the two centre-back positions in particular," Kohler wrote in his column for TZ.
"This is not their best area in my opinion. Dante is certainly not a bad player, but Bayern are aiming high in Europe, and it remains to be seen whether he has the quality to succeed at the highest level."
Kohler made more than 500 domestic and 100 international appearences during a career where he won a number of titles, including the World Cup and Champions League.
Dante, known for his large 'afro' hair, has featured for the full 90 minutes in Bayern's opening two Bundesliga games, which they won 3-0 and 6-1.
The Brazilian recently told reporters: "Was it a good decision to join Bayern? Yes, definitely. I still have to prove my worth here, though, and live up to the people's expectations.
"I have to adapt to Bayern's style of play a bit more. Things are different here than at Gladbach.”
Dante Bonfim Costa Santos, known as “Dante”, joined Gladbach from Belgian team Standard Liège in 2009 and scored eight goals in 91 appearances.
