Miranda scores to help Atlético Madrid thrash Chelsea in the UEFA Super Cup

Miranda found the target to help Europa League winners Atlético Madrid thrash Champions League winners Chelsea 4-1 in the UEFA Super Cup on Friday evening.

The former São Paulo defender netted Atlético's fourth goal from close range on the hour mark at the Stade Louis II, after Radomel Falcao scored a hat-trick in the first-half.

Gary Cahill grabbed a late consolation goal for Chelsea, who looked anything but the kings of Europe on the night.
