Villas-Boas: Tottenham unlikely to sign Willian

Tottenham Hotspur manager André Villas-Boas is not optimistic about the club's chances of signing Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Willian before tomorrow night's transfer deadline.
The 24-year-old has already admitted that he would like to move to White Hart Lane, but Spurs are not willing to meet Shakhtar's £20 million asking price.
''We had initial contact with Shakhtar. Again, Shakhtar is a wealthy club with a wealthy owner and not easy to deal with,'' Villas-Boas said when asked about Willian at press conference on Thursday.
''We have approached the club and the player with contacts and at the moment it doesn't seem to be happening.''
Reports earlier this week claimed that Shakhtar turned down an offer worth £11.8million from Tottenham for the Brazilian.
