Juventus sign goalkeeper Rubinho on free transfer

Brazilian goalkeeper Rubinho has signed for Italian champions Juventus on a free transfer.
The 30-year-old has penned a one-year contract with the Old Lady, who were keen to add another shot stopper to their squad as back-up for Gianluigi Buffon and Marco Storari.
A statement on the Turin giants’ official website read: "Juventus have today completed the signing of Rubens Fernando Moedim.
"The 30-year-old goalkeeper, commonly known as Rubinho, has agreed terms on a contract which expires on 30 June 2013. He joins on a free transfer following a three-year spell with Palermo."
Rubinho hasn’t played for over six months after he rescinded his contract at Palermo in December.
The goalkeeper, who started his professional career with Corinthians, has already played for Genoa, Torino and Livorno in Italy.
