Tottenham Hotspur manager André Villas-Boas is a fan of Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Douglas Costa but the North London club have yet to make an official offer, according to the player’s agent.
The 21-year-old, who was previously linked with Manchester United, has been attracting interest from a number of clubs across Europe recently, with Napoli and Roma reportedly keen.
Douglas Costa’s agent, Cesar Bottega, claims that Villas-Boas is an admirer of the former Grêmio player but Spurs have not made any formal approach.
”Villas-Boas appreciates Douglas Costa’s qualities, although we have not received any official offer,” Bottega told calciomercato.it.
