Paulinho to join Inter Milan in January?

Corinthians midfielder Paulinho will join Inter Milan in January, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri were keen on signing the 24-year-old this summer, before the Brazilian player renewed his contract with Corinthians, who he helped win the Copa Libertadores earlier this season.

Paulinho recently admitted that he would be open to the idea of moving to San Siro but only after he has played in the Club World Cup for Corinthians this December.

''I signed the renewal of my contract with Corinthians and I gave my word to remain here until the Club World Cup,'' he was quoted as saying to FCinternews.it.

''A few weeks ago there was an offer from Inter, but with my family I decided to stay in Brazil.

''I cannot predict what will happen in January, it will depend on several factors related to my personal feelings and needs of Corinthians.''

Paulinho's contract with Corinthians runs until December 2015.
