Galliani: AC Milan want Kaká on loan but Real Madrid want to sell him on a permanent basis

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has moved to clarify the situation regarding the club's pursuit of bringing Real Madrid playmaker Kaká back to the San Siro.
The 30-year-old has been strongly linked with a move away from Real Madrid and the Rossoneri have made no secret of the fact they are interested in re-signing the former Ballon d'Or winner on loan.
However, Galliani has revealed that negotiations between the two clubs over the transfer of Kaká have hit a stumbling block as Madrid are only willing to offload the player on a permanent basis.
''The situation with regards to Kaká is clear,'' said Galliani. ''Real Madrid want to sell him on a permanent basis, we want to take him on loan.
''If Real Madrid change their minds then I'll fly straight to Spain, otherwise we can't do anything about it.
''As for the defence, we have five centre-backs and four full-backs, so we are covered.''
