Zé Eduardo has announced that his proposed move from Genoa to AC Milan has collapsed.
It was believed that the Rossoneri were ready to offer the 24-year-old a season-long loan deal, but coach Massimiliano Allegri asked to have the Brazilian forward on trial for the next few days before finalising any move.
On Thursday, though, Zé Eduardo announced on Twitter that the deal was off as the two clubs were unable to reach an agreement. He said: ''I'm very happy about Milan's interest, but we've not been able to reach an agreement with Genoa, where I'm happy and have a four-year contract.''
