No Manchester City bid for Chelsea defender David Luiz - report

Manchester City have not made a bid for the Chelsea defender David Luiz, according to Sky Sports News.

British newspaper The Sun reported on Thursday morning that City offered the Blues £30 million for the 25-year-old.

However, despite the Premier League champions believed to be in the market for a new defender, Sky Sports News claims that Luiz is not on their wish list.

Luiz, who has been capped 11 times by Brazil, joined Chelsea from Benfica in a deal worth £21 million in January 2011.
