Rivaldo's son Juninho joins Corinthians

The eldest son of former Brazil international Rivaldo has followed in the footsteps of his father by joining Corinthians.
17-year-old Rivaldo Vitor Borba Ferreira Junior, or simply Juninho, has signed for the Copa Libertadores winners on a three-year loan deal from Mogi Mirim, the club his father is the president of.
''We've not signed Juninho because he is the son of Rivaldo, we've signed him because he has potential,'' Fernando Alba, the director of Corinthians' academy, told reporters.
''Corinthians have created a partnership with Mogi Mirim. It's a philosophy that the club follows, finding new talent from other teams and incorporating them into the youth system at Corinthians.''
Juninho will begin his loan spell at Corinthians in their Under-17 side.
