São Paulo secured their place into the last 16 of the Copa Sudamericana with a 2-0 second leg victory over Bahia at the Morumbi on Tuesday night.
The Tricolor Paulista went into the game with a firm grip on the tie courtesy of a 2-0 win in the opening leg in Bahia three weeks ago.
It had taken Ney Franco's side just over an hour to triple their overall lead when Willian José found the back of net from outside the box, before Maicon made sure of the victory just a few moments later.
São Paulo will take on either Ecuadorian side LDU de Loja or Nacional of Uruguay in the last 16 of the South American competition.
