Arsenal youngster Wellington loaned to Spainish side SD Ponferradina

Arsenal’s promising youngster Wellington Silva has joined Spanish side SD Ponferradina on a season-long loan.
The 19-year-old’s move to the Segunda Division side will be his third spell in Spain, having never made a first-team appearance for the Premier League giants.
Last season he played 16 times for Alcoyano in the same league, scoring three goals, and also for La Liga outfit Levante the year before.
A statement on the Gunners' official website read: "Everyone at Arsenal wishes Wellington the best of luck for the coming season at the Estadio El Toralin."
The young attacker, who has represented Brazil at youth level, joined the Premier League side from Fluminense in 2011 after playing 17 games, and scoring one goal, for the Rio-based club in the 2010-11 season.
Wellington is looking to gain valuable first-team experiences as he has only played for Arsenal as a trialist in pre-season friendlies against AFC Wimbledon and Boreham Wood in 2010.
